Polish State Certificate exam
The State Certificate Examination in Polish as a Foreign Language is the official Polish state exam. For adults it is held at levels from A1 to C2 and is supervised by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language. Which level do you need?

- Holders of a C1 state certificate do not pay tuition fees for full-time studies in Polish at public universities.

telc Polish B1·B2 exam
telc Język polski B1·B2 is a dual-level exam: depending on your result you receive a certificate at level B1 or B2. It has a written part (listening, reading, language elements and writing) and an oral part taken in pairs.
A telc B1 certificate is accepted when applying for the EU long-term resident permit, and telc B2 for admission to studies taught in Polish. Check with the office or university which certificate they accept.
